Dangerous Goods
Hazardous materials are articles or substances when they are transported may endanger health, safety, property, people or environment. Tame Cargo ensures that security processes are strictly adhered to move these products.
We have certified staff for receiving and handling, we transport hazardous materials unless the explosives (Class 1), except the Division. 1.4.S, and Infectious Substances (Division 6.2 Category A). In all seasons, there is a place allocated for storage of such products, as described in national and international regulations, which allow us to handle your shipments safely as possible.
Some of these items considered hazardous materials are:
- Compressed gases (flammable, non-flammable and toxic): gas cylinders, air cylinders, aerosols or air tanks for diving
- Corrosive (acids, alkaline): wet cell battery
- Explosives: weapons, ammunition or pyrotechnic materials
- Flammable liquids or solids: lighter fuel, matches and fragile ignition items
- Radioactive materials
- Oxidizing and irritating materials: whitening agents, peroxide, bleach water, oxygenated water.
- Poisonous or toxic materials: arsenic, cyanide, pesticides or herbicides
- Infectious substances and samples for diagnosis
To transport these products you must comply with the classified, identified, packaged, labeled and documentation, as required by the regulations of IATA Hazardous Materials and applicable regulations.
At reception time, Tame Cargo staff will make an exhaustive review of shipping documents and cargo, and will provide full feedback if there is any difference as required by national and international regulations.
Tame Cargo to be an active member of IATA, provides training courses for its staff. We have a group of trained instructors, in compliance with international regulations.
Tame Cargo charged for each UN number is received.
